PSTYLE=$ID/[No paragraph style]Sporting residents soaked up the sun and enjoyed an Olympic-themed Conisbrough Summer Gala.
Visitors to the town’s welfare fields on Saturday, August 6, took part in a range of sporting events as part of a mini-Olympics, including archery session from Dearne Valley Archery Club.
The dog show was also popular with the crowds as was a reptile zoo. Singer Tom Jane entertained visitors and youngsters from SV Dance Studio pulled out their best moves for a dance show.
Penny Lloyd-Rees, of event organisers Conisbrough Forward, said everyone enjoyed the fun day out, which also gave “many local organisations a chance to shout about the great work they are doing.”
