Individual Identified By Police On CCTV In Connection With Flasher
Police have said that they have been able to identify a man who was captured on CCTV in relation to a hunt for a flasher in Sheffield.
A spokesperson said that following the appeal where a CCTV image was posted, the man has now been identified. The appeal was in relation to two reported incidents of indecent exposure which occurred on April 28 and May 2.
Police did not say if the identification of the man in the CCTV image had led to arrests in connection with the incidents. The first incident had taken place on April 28 at about 2.40pm in Arundel Street, when the man exposed himself to a woman in a lift.
On May 2 a woman said she saw a man exposing himself when using a lift at the Eyre Street car park at about 4.15pm. A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said that police were investigating both incidents and that they thought the same man had been involved in both incidents.
If anyone has any information about the incidents police would like them to contact them and quote the incident number 869 of May 2 2017.
