Motorcyclist “critical” after crash
A MOTORCYCLIST is fighting for his life after colliding with a car.
The 38-year-old man was involved in a collision with a white Ford Fiesta, on Edlington Lane, Edlington — at the junction with the Asda car park at around 4.25pm.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remained in a critical condition on Thursday afternoon.
A 27-year-old man who was driving the Fiesta was not injured.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are investigating and are very keen to speak to the drivers and/or passengers in two dark coloured vehicles; one waiting to leave the car park at the time of the collision and the other entering just after, as they may have witnessed the incident and could help with the investigation.”
Anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 810 of August 17.
