Tailgating Maltby Driver Fined More Than £600

A young Maltby driver has had to pay more than £600 in fines after being caught tailgating along with undertaking.

Jamie Lee Green, aged 22, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention and the court told how he was driving along Bawtry Road on July 5 2016 and drove his vehicle very close to a taxi in front of him and then tried to bully the driver of the taxi out of the way.

When the cab driver didn’t hurry up Green then undertook the taxi and pulled directly in front of it, which caused the taxi to have to brake hard.

Green was handed a fine of £323 and then ordered to pay £32 to victim services along with costs of £300 to the Crown Prosecution Service along with having three points on his license.
